I just love making sweets and assorted desserts. I made this on Chaturthi. It came out really well.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sabudana pearls
2 cups milk
2 cups water
4 tbsp sugar
5 green cardamoms
3 tbsp cashew and raisins
Ghee
Soak the pearls for 1 hour. Rinse it in water and place it in a kadai.
Take little ghee roast the cashew and raisins and place it in a plate.
In the same ghee kadai, put the sabudana and fry for a minute. Cook till its transparent. After its cooked, pour milk and let it boil for a while.
Add sugar, raisins, cashew, cardamom powder and mix well.
Yummy payasam is ready to eat.
